Doughnuts By Design - Charlottetown

I didn’t realize all of if not most of their doughnuts are made with a cinnamon based plain dough.. it tastes just like a plain timbit! Still a really tasty snack if you’re looking to try something new and cute though I probably wouldn’t come back for more myself. Really expensive for what you’re getting! update: they’ve said their donuts are 3.75 but for whatever reason my donuts came to around 15$ Hence my complaint. Just watch what you’re being charged as their may be some confusion! Staff was super kind and welcoming though 10/10 for service!

They were very tasty but my goodness they are hard to get to, the location, unless you want to shell out 5$ cash for what could be a 15 minute stay.

My fiancé and I have been dying to try these donuts and they did not disappoint. We got the Skor and Raspberry donuts and loved both. Yes, they both had cinnamon in the donut and I thought it added that extra flavour that we both loved. Definitely recommend checking them out!

They deserve higher then 5 stars. Excellent service and were very good at discussing allergies. I have a soy allergy and they have 3 flavors at this time that do not have Soy Lectin in the chocolate, plus no soy in the Vanilla and Maple.Doughnut was extremely fresh, beautifully decorated and didn't make me feel awful later after a treat. I will be going back when I get a chance!

I ordered gluten free chocolate chip cookies and gluten free cinnamon buns!! Both were delicious, large portions, fairly priced and I can’t wait to go back.
