We each had a lobster roll. The quality was excellent as was the quantity. We know the lobster fishermen have been receiving a good price, but a lobster roll for two boggled the wallet. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dave's Lobster:
After eating many lobster rolls throughout the Maritimes and Maine, this was one of the worst that we had. Definitely not worth the price. There are plenty of better lobster rolls which will you a cost you a less. Go somewhere else! View all feedback.

I don't read Chatelaine, but I really expected something amazing after seeing the Chatelaine magazine quotes this restaurant had up. So after ordering the hot and cold lobster rolls, I can safely say that I still won't read Chatelaine. Expensive, and service was a little...More

Went for lunch on Canada Day, it was a zoo down at the harbor. The main washrooms at in Dave's lobster, not a great place for washrooms. Perhaps if we ate outside it would have been better. I had a lobster burger and it was good, good and expensive. I could have had a whole lobster down the street for what we paid.
After walking to town I asked a local was outside cleaning his yard if he were to go for the best lobster roll in the area where would he go. He laughed when I said I am sure to you is like asking where can you get the best hotdog. He mentioned Dave's immediately which I totally avoided thinking it was in the tourist area. But I was wrong. I had the warm lobster while my date had the hot and cold. The buzz at all the tables were how incredible the sandwiches were. The lobster was fresh with warm butter and seasonings and for some of the earlier comments about lobster being served on a hotdog roll that is the way they are normally served although some places will serve on a hoagie bun. Worth the trip. The young people manning the station were very friendly and outgoing.
