The Pub by Wegmans Charlottesville

Totally blown away by this place. To say this store needs its own zip code is an insult to small towns everywhere--stores can be huge, sure, but do they

Wegmans has a mind-blowing selection of food (especially cheese, which I love)However, I am not a fan of how the store is organized.

I rarely come to Wegmans to do my groceries because their prices tend to be way higherKroger has comparable fresh produce but for a much lower price.

Shrimp appetizer was a disappointment. Pizza was soggy. Truffle fries were excellent. Service was great. Food was not. My husband and I enjoyed happy hour and brunch and I was excited to bring my daughter here for dinner. It was okay but lots of room for improvement.

I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before.
