Charlottesville Draft Taproom

The Draft Taproom is fantastic! The food is excellent, the service is exceptional, and the beer selection is even better. The self-pour concept is a brilliant idea. During our visit, there were 60 beers available on tap. One of the most unique features is the variety of self-serve glasses you can choose from. You can use the smaller glasses to create your own flight of 60 beers, or if you have a favorite, you can enjoy it in a quart-sized mug. I hope someone considers bringing this amazing spot to Northern Virginia. Overall, it’s a superb offering and a wonderful experience. Great job!

When I first heard about this place I was a little skeptical of the set up. However, we went on the night of the NCAA basketball final, and we did not have to wait to get a beer ever, even thought the place was packed. An excellent alternative to the local big beer garden where you might have to stand in line ten minutes on a busy night to get a beer. Also, very nice staff and exceptional selection of beers.

The coolest spot to hang out on the downtown mall! They have a fantastic selection of beers and more than a dozen TVs. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The turkey burger and the cheese/charcuterie plate are standout dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions you might have about their beer selections!

Excellent set up, great selection, helpful staff and reasonable pricing. What else could you want. Fun, new concept for Virginia. I can think of no better place to take a novice beer drinker to explore different style of beer.
