It has a great tang. The bakery takes orders at the door. You can see all of the work these fabulous bakers do. There is no sit down area. They also have a slicer if you like the loaf pre-sliced. I also really enjoy the english muffins and brioche dinner rolls.

My only compla... read more This is the best place in Charlotte. They do subscriptions but I usually just go in the morning and get a warm baguette. Staff is super friendly. My only complaint is that they aren't open enough hours/days.

Been desperately looking for a good baguette in Charlotte and the one at Verdant is super solid and a really great price. Always have to tear off an end and sneak a bite on the way home. Not only is the bread excellent but the staff is super nice and everyone working there seems to really enjoy it and it comes through in their product. Check them out and support this local business
