Contribute FeedbackStoke, a restaurant located within a Marriott hotel in Charlotte, offers a mixed dining experience according to recent reviews. While some diners rave about the excellent service and recommendable food items such as the avocado toast and breakfast potatoes, others were disappointed by the limited menu options, noisy ambiance, and lackluster dishes. Highlights include the bruschetta appetizer, the chicken biscuit, and scallops. Despite some inconsistent experiences, Stoke remains a potential choice for those looking for a unique dining experience in Charlotte, especially for brunch.
Every time we come to Stoke, the food and service are amazing. Maria has been our server twice, and she is amazing. She’s so polite and checks on us just the right amount. Her pointers and recommendations are great. She knows a lot about the food.
This place is incredible. I love the open kitchen the way it is designed. It does not feel like you are in a hotel. We stared with some delicious cocktails and the burrata appetizer which was served on delicious sourdough bread. My dinner was this perfect pesto pasta with beautifully seared dry packed scallops and NC shrimp. We finished with the life changing 1 lb donut that was warm tasty. The service was great and we were not rushed despite it being a busy Saturday evening. I can’t wait to return to Stoke next time I am in Charlotte!
Fantastic food and great service. If you need gluten free they have delicious options. The Kale-Broccoli was amazing. If you need a GF meal this place is a great option. The rest of my group had The Donut. The 1lb donut is a sight to see and I'm told it was fantastic, it is the opposite of gluten free though. Absolutely worth the visit.
The food was so good. Definitely a unique menu with a few ingredients I'd never heard of but everything was really delicious. Our server Maria was wonderful friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered the $18 doughnut dessert and it did not disappoint! Just wish we had room to finish it!
I had a great experience here, with the food and the wait staff. Unfortunately they were out of the pasta, so I went for the steak instead. Steak was very good, they cooked medium rare perfectly, and the sauce had a nice acidity to it. The sticky pork shank was very flavorful with a sweet sauce. Mac and cheese tasted very creamy and cheesy. The burrata had a lot of nice flavors to combine for an appetizer and the donut was really good and fluffy, but very filling! Drinks were very good as well. I would definitely come back here and recommend it.
