Mr G's - Charlotte

I've heard the burgers here were delicious so I paid them a visit. Believe the hype. The bacon cheeseburger WAS delicious, with crinkle cut fries. Worth the trip! ?Food: 5/5

We tried Mr. G's for lunch today and were very impressed.The bacon double cheeseburger was excellent and the fries were crispy.We also tried a breakfast platter (breakfast served all day! The hot cakes that came with it were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet.We will definitely be back!

I had a bacon cheeseburger combo with one piece of fried flounder. Last I remember the burgers were hand patted and amazing! This time, my burger was prepared from frozen and not as tasty. The slaw and chili were tasty though. I do; however, prefer fresh ground beef over frozen. Also, it seemed like the grease to fry the flounder was up too high and the outside was crunchy while the inside was not fully cooked. I brought it to the server's attention and they prepared me another piece, but with the same result. Next time, I'll either try a different type fish or stay away from it all together.Parking: You should be able to find parking whether dining in or taking out. On a busy day, it may be just a tad bit difficult to be organized as there are no exact lines, just space.

Excellent mom pop restaurant! Stopped by from out of town to satisfy a craving for a real cheeseburger and they didn’t disappoint! Was absolutely delicious! Large portions too!Food: 5/5

Food came out fast, customer service was very polite, food was good would recommend trying. Like the small diner feel. (Ignore the red in the tartar sauce…hot sauce was added)
