This place was very rated and wanted to give it a chance and I can see why the review is so good the food is great. This place has an authentic Jamaican feeling, I would know because I just came from Jamaica. The portions are great and even authentic Jamaican drinks really recommend. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lawrence Caribbean:
Ordering the little oxtail, I like the portion size for it small. Eating was good enough to enjoy. Service not so much. Although on site to place order. My friends had to say what we wanted to order. No welcome or warm welcome. View all feedback.
MUST TRY Massive amount of flavor in every bite. Roti skin is perfect. All the proteins are made with extra love. You get your bang for your buck FOR SURE! Thank you everyone for creating such phenomenal food!!!Food: 5/5
This is the best Jamaican spot for food in Charlotte. I know because I have tried them all and added some reviews on here about them. The oxtails are a consistent hit 10/10 and the natural juices particularly the ginger though a bit overpriced is good. Try them you won’t be disappointedFood: 5/5
Ordered take out 6/2. When I got home and opened the food. This is what it was. Collard green tasted like it came out the can. The fish was either warmed or a day old. It was not freshly fried. And the plantains looked like the plantain out the box. Really terrible. I was disappointed. Quality of this food was bad. I ended up trashing it
The food is delicious and authentic, the staff is warm and friendly.I have been to this restaurant many times and the quality of the food has been consistently good. The setting is pristine (clean) and they have added outdoor seating.Reminds me of Caribbean food served up in Brooklyn!
Food was over cooked and bland. Everything was terrible and very disappointing. Tired the veggie patty, chicken patty (bland and burnt), curry shrimp roti (only 4 shrimp in a $18 roti that tasted like flour), sweet plantains (not ripe at all) and the carrot cake (smallest $4 cake I’ve ever had, only thing that was almost edible).Never eating here again!
