Lang Van - Charlotte

I had house special hot pot. It was super delicious. Comes in an adorable clay hot pot. I gave instructions to the lady who took our order that I do not want any fish/oyster sauce and I did not have to even mention anything else. She knew exactly what vegan was and that took my worry away. If I lived in Charlotte I’d go there all the time. Thank you!

I go here usually once a week with my partner and/or friends. I could never get tired of it. Really good vegan options, and they know how to cook tofu just right- perfectly crispy! Veggies always taste fresh. The staff are incredibly welcoming, caring and hilarious. Tao always remembers our favorite orders, including starting us off with temple rolls and our favorite sake without even having to ask. Dan, the owner, loves her customers like family. Couldn’t recommend Lang Van more! “See you tomorrow!”

I am honestly heartbroken i no longer live in charlotte solely because i miss this place. i have been searching for a local replacement vietnamese restaurant but i am learning nothing will ever come close to lang van. their menu is huge but they somehow pull it off. the owner and staff are so cute. my go-to’s were the tofu rolls, stir fried vermicelli curry with tofu, and their veggie coconut curry.

This restaurant in Charlotte has the best food, without a doubt. My friends and I visit every weekend and will definitely keep coming back. The service is top-notch and the food is amazing. It's the best all-around dining experience.
