Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Charlotte

Update 25 February 2024: I visited with a friend who knew one of the waitresses. She was extremely friendly, with an adorable personality and a neat appearance. I made sure to tip her well as she was attentive to everyone in her section. The guests at the table next to us were a very attractive couple who seemed to have come from or were heading to church. After feeling very full, I managed to get to my car and drove safely home. As soon as I got inside, I fell asleep and had the best rest I've had in days, especially since I didn't have to work later that night.

This was the worst restaurant experience ever. There was hardly any food options available and the food that was there was not good. My husband and I tried a few dishes, like nachos with taco meat, but the meat was tasteless and burnt, and the nachos were stale. We also tried some other dishes, but they were either undercooked or overcooked. The price was ridiculously high for the quality of food we received. The ice machine was not working properly, and there was even a liquid dripping from the ceiling. Compared to other Golden Corral restaurants in Charlotte, this was the worst one. Do not recommend eating here.

When you see a good staff, you see a good restaurant. When you a child, go for a roll, try to eat it with the tongs. It's funny, but that's what children do. When your told that your at risk for kidney failure, your wife takes you to the only slice of heaven left. Not for salad, but to bump your spirits. A buffet should have a mix of good food on rotation. Home cooking is good for the soul. When you see smiles from the manager to the cooks to a child. Your in the right place.

We sat there for 8 minutes before I finally saw the young lady and had to ask her for water. Throughout our visit, we had to stop the young lady a couple of times for refills as she passed by. Surprisingly, the place was not busy at all. In our section, there were only three occupied tables. It seems like good service may only be guaranteed when the place is crowded. I brought my brother to this restaurant for a birthday breakfast, hoping to have a special moment together as he survived a stroke last year.

This time, the buffet was better as there were no young children present.
