This place is amazing!!! It's a 6 min walk from Embassy Uptown. Service is SUPERB and food is DELICIOUS!! It was worth the wait. French toast and waffles are good. There is a bit of a wait but worth the wait. Will definetly come back and eat here when I am in Charlotte. View all feedback.
What Lillian Hagermeister doesn't like about Famous Toastery Keagy Village:
Got there about 9am, 15 min wait. Seated and put in order pretty quickly. Food didn't take long to arrive but bf ordered sausage and got bacon. Waitress said she'd get sausage, but 20 min later we gave up and left. Desperately understaffed and doing their best but still frustrating. Oh also a guy came in and went to all the tables asking for money. Started yelling when he was asked to leave. Pretty exciting start to... View all feedback.
I had a really great experience here as my brother and I picked out as we were walking around Charlotte! The breakfast was delicious as it was well worth the stop! The service was really great and I really enjoyed the environment as we felt very at home while visiting Charlotte for the weekend! Definitely recommend this place!

Is an average place that needs to fix some things for sure! Met with friends for breakfast at 10:00 am and the place was packed. We got on the waiting list, I was told they are short staffed and I saw people walked away when they were told about an hour wait. Let?s break down these four stars! Ambiance- nothing out of this world, the place can be a lot more clean specially being Uptown Charlotte. Floors were dirty and sticky and so was the rail downstairs. Overall, is like any Denny?s. Customer service: the host was nice when I walked in and inquired about the wait time and wanted to make sure my friend?s name was there and she was. So was the host downstairs, our waiter was not engaged or happy but we can?t judge. He might be going through something and it reflects in his job. Food: this is where I give them the 3 stars, I ordered Irish coffee and got black coffee with maybe whisky? But I politely told our waiter that my coffee was not Irish and I wanted the one with Baileys and Whip Cream and all the bells and whistles. He said: that is called the Kiss of the Irish Coffee or something like that. He replaced it and I loved my coffee??. My huevos rancheros were good although the black beans were cold around and hot only in the center but they were very good!! I will go back to another location. Oh the parking is next door,$5 an hour so budget at least $10 to $15 for that.
Arrived around 8:30 am on a Saturday. I was greeted and seated downstairs immediately. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ordered the stuffed french toast (rasberry) combo. The french toast was a little bland. The syrup is brought to the table in a glass container which they keep in a food warmer the warm syrup was a nice touch . Food arrived to the table super quick. Multiple servers checked on me which I appreciated. As a solo diner, I normally feel my table gets neglected. The restaurant started to fill up by 9:30 am. I would visit again, but definitely trying something new!
