Fantastic food at unbeatable prices! The service is quick, friendly, and feels very personal. This place is truly a hidden gem. It's located upstairs, and Steve, the owner, gives a warm welcome with a cheerful "See you tomorrow!" View all feedback.
What Trystan Mayer doesn't like about Chuck's Grill:
You can't beat the price! It feels like you're enjoying a home-cooked meal, which is perfect since you didn’t feel like cooking yourself. I highly recommend going there, but be prepared to wait for a seat. View all feedback.
If you pull up first, you could think hole in the wall. but baby, eating is great! fresh, tasteful and cost-effective. I had two of the menu points and wait to try some others. the specialties of the day are the best! you have to come there before 2 o'clock or you will miss it! bon appetit!
We went for breakfast and it was great. Nothing fancy but good food and great service. It is truly the hole in the wall place with many locals. It is not a big place and they seem to do a lot of take out orders. We just beat the crowd as it got very busy. I had the egg and bologna combo with grits and toast. We also had the hash which was cooked perfectly. I will definitely go back.
The food was good, until I saw the cook/owner not wearing gloves and sticking his finger in the gravy multiple times to taste it without gloves or washing his hands. Then he used a dirty towel he wiped his hands on to get grease off some fried fish. I will not be going back!!
Great lil cozy spot for lunch, food is consistently good especially the chicken and dumplings ..
They seem to have a huge flock of regulars. Unfortunately the food was pretty bad and on disposable plates.
