First time ordering from this restaurant and I will be back! I'm very picky and I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant out here that I'm satisfied with. The chicken wings and chicken fried rice were delicious! Seafood boil with shrimp and crawfish was very flavorful! View all feedback.
What Scot Ritchie doesn't like about China Gogo Kitchen:
If you know good Chinese food, then you would definitely be disappointed, insecure if workers misunderstood, but I asked for house fired rice instead of saying they don't offer house fried rice just gave me whatever. The rice tasted like white rice with soy sauce I don't love white rice but what I expected from a Chinese stain. View all feedback.
The quality of the food was disappointing. The fried rice was unappetizing, and the sesame chicken had a sour flavor.
This place is amazing! I've been coming here for over two years, and every time I visit, it's consistently excellent. I always order the black pepper steak rice—I love how tender the beef is, and the cabbage and sour pickles really enhance the dish.
Great quality food, way better than your standard Asian takeout restaurant. The Spicy chicken meal box is awesome. You get a lot of food for the money, so its a very good value.
The food has consistently been excellent. I really miss the miso soup, which was one of my favorites last winter! I often order the crab rangoon, chicken with vegetables, and the triple delight.
It's easy to find and convenient. Upon entering the first impression is that it's clean and has an open kitchen. However, the two owners or employees do not greet you and seemed annoyed that I needed to look at the menu. It was awkward trying to figure out what I wanted while they stared at me without speaking one foot away. The checkout process also occurred without a word spoken. The people before me had the same experience and the Chinese couple after me got a warm greeting so.... I got the braised tofu and sesame tofu. The braised tofu is just ok. The sauce is a generic brown sauce, but it's cooked well and soaks it up. The sesame tofu looks better than it is. Not bad, but the skin is super hard and the sauce is mediocre. They do, however, cook the rice exceptionally well but that's not enough to save the overall experience.
