They seemed a little shorthanded when we arrived, so we had to wait for a table despite it not being terribly busy. Otherwise it was great. The food was phenomenal, the service was friendly and timely. The prices were as expected oh, not too high but not cheap either. Definitely a nice spot to check out if you're looking for some good Cajun food. View all feedback.
What PaulBeve doesn't like about Boudreaux's Louisiana Kitchen:
Going to a show at the Neighborhood Theatre and needed somewhere for dinner. Wandered by, looked at posted menu, and in we went. Good service and good food! Were there on a Saturday evening around 6PM, not crowded. We would defintely go back! View all feedback.
All right. I was here a few years ago and remember that it was much better. Yesterday evening here and it was without any personal or atmosphere. the tables were placed far apart, many without chairs. our waiter didn't want to be there and was pretty rough around the edges. the only redeeming quality is that eating was still decent, but we will not return soon.
5 stars for eating 0 for service. 6 people at the whole place 3 min before someone said to put everything. then 8 minutes to order a drink (and I placed an appetizer order) after sitting for a total of 15-16 min (with 2 children) I finally went to the bar area and interrupted the keerl at the bar and said, hey I can get these drinks please 4 minutes later the appetizers arrived and still no drinks. the food was good, fresh and delicious. but the service was disgusting. I have kept many restaurant positions and I am very forgiven and wise. but that was pretty ridiculous.
Eating was really good. I wish I could rank higher .but because they are (obvily) understaffed. We only saw three (3) employees (barkeepers and 2 waiting personnel.) we had 7pm reservation and were not up to almost 8pm square. . no crowded night. only short personal I suspect. we would like to go back if they have a full staff. so I can give 5 stars. our waiter has done his best, but a man who has done the work of many has been extinguished and it was only 8 o'clock. we left a 50% size. we believe that this place would be a great experience
I'm here twice. I thought the first time was a fuke, the first waiter was knocked out. the second was slow as melasse. eating is cheap and not worth it. the hush puppies were good. beer lasted 15 minutes, eating 50 minutes both times. bright side beer was cold. will not be back.
Went here for the first day of Mardi Gras season and will definitely be back. Got a great taste of New Orleans as well as the great vibe Noda has in general. I wish we were able to get a cat 5 and walk to see live music though. That would make it a full experience.
