Bean Vegan Cuisine - Charlotte

The have recently done some upgrades to the restaurant (new floors, tables, paint, and curtains) they have really made it a welcoming place to dine in. The menu has been streamlined but still has so many great options. The bbq tofu sandwich is amazing. You must try the queso dip. It 's the best vegan queso I 've ever had. They need to put a huge sign out front saying Best soft serve ice cream in town served here that 's right folks, oat milk soft serve. It 's so good. The icing on the cake (yes they do have delicious cakes) is the service. While like many restaurants they are short staffed the pleasant lady working as the hostess/waitress/cashier/server/bus boy/ice cream and shake maker makes everyone feel welcomed and takes great care of them. The cook is also busting his butt making every order to perfection in a timely manner. To the owner: can you please print some of your recipe 's that are no longer on the menu onto flash cards and sell them at whatever price you want to. While I 'm not a vegan, the vegan meatloaf on your previous menu was one of the best I 've ever had.

Good food, dirty glasses, shitty service. The poor service is consistent and has been for years. Honestly, I would just ignore it but the blue haired server/host is short even when you have a 5 year old with you. I'm not going to leave a tip today and I hate to do that because they work for tips. Will this change anything? No, just a small dig. If you don't like working with people, stay home.

I have the crabs and the Jalapeno-Cheddarburger and everything was amazing! my server was really friendly and eating came fast and hot. I'm in a couple of weeks back in charlotte and will come back!

The mac and the cheese were disgusting, the kale was not seasoned and the tacos were simply ok. definitiw not worth $20. will not be back and definitely not recommend. even if they order take out and then decide to dip, they do not leave strange

Great food! my second time eating in this restaurant. I was in charolette 7 years ago and had the brunch on the way out of town. I always wanted to think. I had the wagging at my last visit.
