What User doesn't like about RSL Hayes Bistro:
An obscenely long wait to be served to place an order (20 min ) then over one hour to receive food is incompetent . It no longer matters whether the food is good or not , that level is astoundingly bad . If there was a negative vote I would cast it . A sad slur on the wonderful RSL clubs I have dined in View all feedback.

We ordered the daily special which included fish, chops, and salad. It was a great deal for $12, with generous portions of everything and a tasty, simple salad.
Although the food was good, the wait for it was very long. It wasn't a very busy night but the meals took a long while to get to us. Also, for one of us, the entree and the main arrived at the same time, whereas the rest of us had already almost finished our mains. Service could be improved.
We visited this place on a Monday night, expecting it to be very quiet. The place was buzzing, ask most of the tables were full
Wednesday is Schnitzel night.. Yum yum! So was the rump steak! The cheesecake dessert pushed us over the edge. Service was brilliant, above and beyond. Chatting with other tourists was easy in the relaxed atmosphere.
