Corones Charleville - CHARLEVILLE
Corones Charleville
Description
Nestled in a historic setting, Corones Hotel provides a mixed experience for guests. While the architecture and atmosphere are charming, many patrons express concerns over the quality of service and accommodations. Meals show promise with hearty portions and flavors, but some items, like the squid and chips, are deemed overpriced. Staff friendliness varies, with a few standout employees making a positive impact. However, logistical issues, particularly concerning late check-ins and room cleanliness, have marred visits. Despite its rich history, the hotel may benefit from attentive updates to service and facilities to enhance the overall guest experience.

I haven't visited the Coroner's Hotel itself, but I did stop by the coffee shop at the southern end. The staff were delightful, and the gelato was delicious. It’s a quiet part of town, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service: 5 Location: 5

Fantastic and welcoming pub with a great atmosphere, even on a Monday! Dillon, the Scottish bartender, along with the rest of the staff, were amazing and extremely helpful. Thank you, everyone!

Corones Hotel is, of course, an historic building with rich timber furniture and stairs and decorations. But it also shows the effects of age!! Concrete walkways are very uneven; the rear of the building is verging on ugly! We stayed for four days in the motel section of the hotel and the room was clean and had good amenities and comfortable bed. The meals were of excellent quality. My wife and I ordered a pizza and could eat only half of it so we had the rest the next day. There is an excellent cafe outside the hotel but which is part of the hotel and also serves excellent food and coffee and fruit smoothies which my wife enjoyed. The best part by far are the staff. They were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One man called Mark even went to the trouble of finding us a charger for our Samsung phones. It was our problem that we had left our chargers behind and he could have shrugged off our dilemma but he didn't. Lindsey Elizabeth Timms Rooms: We stayed in the motel not the hotel. Room was comofortable although air conditioner struggled a bit.
