This was the best meal we experienced in Charleston! To start, the restaurant's entrance is absolutely stunning. We opted for seating at the cooking table, which turned out to be an excellent choice. All the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Our server, Nadia, was fantastic. The chef even came over to explain how he prepares one of the dishes we really enjoyed. Every dish from start to finish was deli... View all feedback.
What Mike Earnest doesn't like about Wild Common:
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. However, it would have been perfect if there had been more protein on the plate, as we left feeling a bit hungry. Overall, I'm giving it 5 out of 5! View all feedback.
Amazing tasting menu with view into the chefs plating the food. Precision, flavor bombs, and personality from the wait staff, to the sommelier, to the chefs!
The chef's tasting menu is prepared by a James Beard 2021 semi-finalist, Executive Chef Orlando Pagán. Each taste is aesthetically presented and delicious. You might worry that the tastings are small, but you will be delightfully satisfied. It is a fixed menu and has an upscale price to it, but you get what you pay for. Kenny H, our server, was professional and informative. It was a memorable evening.
I've been following this restaurant for years on social media, and it was the driving force for our stay in Charleston.... haha no pressure! My wife and I booked a reservation for our anniversary and absolutely it blew us away. If you enjoy chef's menus/tastings you cannot skip this spot!Food: 5/5
The staff here is just amazing. So friendly and warm. And the food is out of this world good! Such an approachable tasting menu and the wine pairing is a must if you are into that. A gem in Charleston for foodies!
Fantastic meal. Restaurant is worthy of the accoladesBeautiful setting. Calming and Zen like. Love the projected wall art analogous to the ‘Van Gogh Experience’Service is attentive, friendly and ‘casually intimate.’ Love the vibeFood is a modern and creative fusion where Asia meets the Low Country. Wonderful preparation and attentive plating. Everything excellent, but my favorite was the ‘fruit salad’ (their dessert, and I’m not a dessert guy). For the more ‘mature’ among us, think a semi melted Good Humor strawberry shortcake bar meets a pint of melted pistachio Ben Jerry’s refreshing, creative and oh so yummy!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
