Contribute FeedbackAt this restaurant, experiences can vary significantly. While some diners rave about the delicious offerings, such as exceptional shrimp and grits, others express disappointment over slow service and menu items running out. Price points appear misaligned with the quality, leaving some feeling that the food lacks value. Though the atmosphere is pleasant—particularly for outdoor dining—staff appear overwhelmed at times, impacting service. While a few patrons enjoyed their meals and plan to return, a notable number do not intend to revisit, citing inconsistent food quality and service issues as major deterrents. Overall, a mixed bag of culinary experiences.
The food was delicious, but unfortunately they had run out of most beers and drinks listed on the menu. Additionally, when I visited at 5pm, there was no cornbread available, even though it was supposed to be included with the meals. The requested modifications to the kids meals, such as switching from assorted fruit to one kind, were not accommodated, although the server acknowledged the mistake and did not rectify it.
The food here is not worth the high prices. While the menu looked promising, the quality of the dishes did not meet our expectations. The service was average at best. This place might be better for breakfast, but we won't be coming back for dinner.
It took a long time to receive our drinks at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they were out of the first two we ordered. When we finally received our food, the sandwich arrived 10 minutes before the soup. The sandwich was delicious, but the PoBoy only had 4 shrimp and 4 oysters. We were charged $12.95 for the PoBoy and $6.95 for the sandwich. The okra gumbo was not tasty. Our waitress was friendly, but it seemed like she was overwhelmed. We don't believe the bad food and service were her fault. Overall, we were disappointed and do not plan on returning.
Slow service, ordered breakfast and grits seemed old. Had to ask for silverware as did others. Waited 15 minutes for server to come back to the table to be able to pay so we could leave.
The food was good, but they were from most beers and drinks from the drinks card. No maize bread was ready at 5:00, although it should come with meals. The modifications to the children's courts were not honored (to switch from sorted fruits in one way) and the server recognized it, but not trouble correcting it.
