Shiki - Charleston

This place is so, so good! Would highly recommend for some incredible sushi. Our waitress recommended the Toro nigiri and it was one of the best pieces of sushi my partner and I had ever eaten. Likewise, the Shiki SC and Green River were excellent Update: went again, still fantastic. The broiled mussels are silly good. Our server, Elliott, was wonderful. Very knowledge, great service.

Price is a bit higher than I’m used to in California, but completely understandable considering it’s a family restaurant and post covid. Definitely happier to pay more to support a place that has a good schedule for employees. Sushi is legit. Well seasoned and fresh rice. Completely fresh fish. No complaints at all.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! So fresh and delicious. Loved the atmosphere and our server Caroline was great! We really enjoyed the spider roll and spicy tuna roll. Their Martin Ray Pinot Noir was excellent! Highly recommend this place and we will be sure to stop by again next time we are in Charleston.

BEST SUSHI! Once you go shiki, you cannot go to any other sushi restaurant because it is that tasty. Luba helped us out! She is so kind and efficient while adding humor to our experience. She radiates such positive energy. All around 100/10 experience, definitely recommend.
