Very sweet terrace and the food was EXCELLENT. THE BRAISIER beef short rib was excellent. I'd just skip the gnocchi because I felt like I did something like that at home. Would highly recommend going here. They even played live music and he was very talented. Beautiful place and cozy courtyard. View all feedback.

We enjoyed Sermet's Courtyard very (although unfortunately we couldn't sit in the court because of the danger of lightning). That was excellent with great service. We started with the freshly drawn mozzarella and cherry tomatoes in EVOO and Balsamico vinegar. It was so good that it was gone before I could make a picture. For the main course I had the speciality that a boiled halibut on green tea infused jasmine rice in a coconut tomato cream sauce with asparagus and bokchuy. Deeeeeeelicious. My wife had the Fsselnbolognes. Very good too. I also liked the wine list (not that I am a wine expert). We were too full for Dessert. Next time.
This is a beautiful place to have a meal with indoor and outdoor seats. Your menu therefore changes safely to check the website. You will receive complementary bread and a sun-dried tomato oil. We tried both the mozzarella and the spring rolls appetizers and they were very good. Children had the penne and added shrimps. I tried the crusted Mahi w/ ravioli special. It was salty and you only have 2 ravioli with it. Wife had the braided short rib with mushroom risotto and that was amazing. Ready with two desserts that were good. The wine list is decent. All in all a good meal, although the Mahi Special was ok it was a very small part. One side of a kind of vegetables would have made a complete meal. Price point here is a bit high and so be prepared. Service was good.
We had a great culinary experience in the Sermet farm on Daniel Island tonight. Our first thought when we sat in the elegant Courtyard and listened to the soft romantic live music was how beautiful the outdoor area was designed... that means until I only discovered the owner/Koch Sermet Aslan that he is an internationally recognized artist. His passion for art transfers to the gourmet food he prepares and serves, and to all happy employees. Our waitress Rachel was adorable and smiling Danielle made me the best Martini I ever had. As if we were in a magical country, customers and employees together with Sermet painted the perfect evening of gourmet food from Roasted Beet Salat and Beef Spring Rolls, to Shrimp Penne. We finished with a brandy Alexander, Expresso Martini and Key Lime Pie to dessert. Thank you Sermet for creating Sermet Hof for Daniel Island and Charleston area. The atmosphere is so quant and comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive and just amazing all around. The dipping oil for the bread is so delicious. I just couldn’t get enough of it. We had the spring rolls with the yogurt sauce and it was so flavorful and crispy. For the entree we had the filet and the shrimp pasta. The filet was melt in your mouth tender and the cooked to perfection. The shrimp pasta was a favorite dish also. Can’t wait to come back to Charleston because this is definitely a gem.
