I stopped taking a coffee and doing something. Parking and tables are abundant, and the almond milk latte was great. But Merc and Mash play very loud music and is very busy. If you are like me and like to work in this kind of environment, then you will enjoy it here. View all feedback.
M&M was the place that confirmed my move to Charleston in 2022. My favorite seating was right in front of the bakery, or outside. I would always grab a pastry or iced sugar cookie (if they had them , the avocado toast with a fried egg and salmon, and an iced Americano (all are extremely delicious . I would find comfort in reading or working on my laptop there as many people do, or just people watching in the rustic and cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere is unbeatable. The staff is great and hardworking and I was proud to call that my spot. I recently moved out of the state and still think about it to this day, which is why I am now posting from my new home in South Dakota. M&M is very versatile: bring family, friends, a colleague, invite your boss, or even just settle in with a book. Hopefully the parking situation isn 't too bad ;
Went for coffee and a small breakfast which was fabulous. Great spot to grab a coffee, a little bite or to post up and do some work. Also love that they have parking-huge perk in Charleston!Food: 5/5
Hip place with good food and good coffee. I liked the burger better than the huevos rancheros.Update... after multiple bad cappuccinos I am changing my review. They cook the milk of the cappuccino and get it way to hot. It doesn't make since to me how this nice of a place has consistent bad barristas. It's very disappointing because the food and atmosphere is so good, but this cappuccino is garbage. I hate I paid for it. As you can see in the picture of the cappuccino, the milk froth is not smooth with small bubbles. Large bubble froth means it was steamed to long. It was cooked enough to burn my mouth. Cappuccino should never be that hot.... I asked for another because it wasn't really a capp. They seemed annoyed instead of apologizing. Springbok coffee has training. They need to send people there. They also need a class in southern hospitality. My review is going to a 1 star because the cant make a good capp and they are rude.I did sit at the bakery bar and the bakers were super nice!
Always love the breakfast wrap, consistent and yummy! The coffee is coffee, hits the spot. Fantastic place to sit inside or outside and get work done, chat with friends or a quick bite. Can get crowded as the food is worth it.Food: 5/5
