Maui Tacos - Charleston

This place is incredible! The self-ordering system means you don't have to deal with servers, which I really appreciate. You simply find a seat and place your order at the register. I highly recommend sitting at the bar to enjoy the fantastic bartender, who is very knowledgeable about the menu. The Baja taco and shrimp taco are absolutely delicious. The chips and salsa bar is delightful as well, and the pineapple salsa is so good that I could drink it! If you're in the mood for Hawaiian-style tacos, this is the spot for you. It's a must-visit in Chuck City. It's a small hole-in-the-wall, but it's amazing!

The owners were incredibly friendly! They welcomed us right away, walked us through the menu, and made sure we got extra salty chips, just the way we like them. When we noticed the mini pineapples in the decor, the owner took the time to explain their significance. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, and the food was fantastic!

They have just introduced a new breakfast tortilla soup, featuring chicken, cheese, pico de gallo, and your choice of sour cream or guacamole. It's absolutely the best! Make sure to stop by and give it a try—perfect for this chilly weather.

Fantastic!!! We were treated so well and will surely come back! Delicious margaritas, beer and food, including excellent house made Salsas, super fun vibe and incredible service. So much value for what you pay (as $30 for all our drinks and food).

This place... Let's start with happy hour all day everyday with $3 frozen margaritas, $4.50 margaritas on the rocks and $3 well drinks... Best deal in town. This is a fast casual place where you order at a counter and they bring out your food. While you wait, there are complimentary chips accompanied by a salsa bar (which wasn't really all that impressive, but free is free! . All of the food is fantastic, especially the island nachos. Portions are smaller than I would expect for the price, but they are so tasty and drinks are cheap so it evens out. One of my favorite things about this place is that when you order, you start a tab so that your food and drinks are all on the same tab and you pay before you leave. We were able to meet and talk to the owner who was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a few very long tables to accommodate parties of maybe 12 or 14. There are also small booths for smaller groups and the bar has seating as well. Definitely a family friendly place, but also good for late night tacos and margaritas. If you're in the Charleston area, I highly highly highly recommend this place.
