Wow, if you're looking for BBQ near downtown Charleston, not further than Lewis BBQ. Texas style BBQ, hands down some of the best bbq I?ve had. You order meat on the pound and sides are a flat rate. I wanted to try everything to get Brisket, pulled pork and a Cheddar Luke chiliwurst. For pages I have Mac cheese and potato frits. I had days left. Everything was delicious from this world. Not worth the wait. This was the first BBQ place I 've been to in Charleston and if this is what warrants an hour long line, I 'll be skipping any more 'cue in this town. I recently had lunch at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $30 and $50. The food was delicious, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect, both also receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Green Chile Corn Pudding, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Mac and Cheese dishes.
