Very cute eclectic little restaurant with an interesting menu and nice bar service. Butternut squash casserole was delicious. Cheese melted on top and bits of sausage running throughout. Large enough for 2 to share as an appetizer. Cornbread fritters also very good. Tomato pie, a side but we did as an appetizer, was really good. Pie crust bottom with tomato etc on top. What Paula Warnick doesn't like about Lenoir:
Read a lot about the passion behind the food from the restaurants creator. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much about this meal that we liked. There was nothing we loved. Unfortunately, we spent a lot of money. The only thing worth mentioning are the cocktails. Very disappointed. Can I have my money back? View all feedback.
Huge island shaped bar with an innovative cocktail list. This restaurant has some to the best vegetable dishes you have ever had, but don't stop there, the huge Pork Steak/Chop and fish dishes will have coming back again.

We traveled all the way from Wisconsin to dine at a Vivian Howard restaurant, and Lenoir did not disappoint! As Vivian mentioned on The Life of a Chef, southern fried catfish truly is the best, and at Lenoir, it definitely lived up to that reputation! It was also a wonderful experience to try the pork chop with muscadine jam. I can guarantee no one in Wisconsin has ever heard of this intriguing fruit, but both my husband and I enjoyed it immensely! Our server, Fawn, was incredibly attentive and friendly, especially when they had just run out of a dish.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It's a unique dining experience that's incredibly enjoyable. They offered seasonal dishes that were both innovative and expertly prepared. The service was outstanding, showing great attention to our allergies. As someone who is gluten-free, I found many dishes that were easy to choose from. I can't wait to return!
Looooved our dinner at Lenoir this past June. We made a reservation, but ended up eating at the bar? Michael was incredibly helpful, attentive and had great suggestions? Food was fantastic as were the cocktails! The Greens Grits were outstanding as were the Mess of Greens? the scallops and Shrimp toast were also excellent. Highly recommend.
