Fazio's - Charleston
Fazio's
Description
Fazio's Italian Restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a spectrum of experiences from delightful to disappointing. The ambiance enchants with candlelight and soft music, making it a standout for special occasions. While some diners praise the excellent service and flavorful dishes, such as Fried Ravioli and veal Parmigiana, others lament subpar meals, highlighting issues like lackluster flavors and rude management. Notably, price points can feel steep, especially for lower-quality offerings. Despite the inconsistency in food and service, many still regard it as a cherished destination for Italian cuisine in Charleston, ideal for both romantic evenings and family gatherings.

One of my all time favorite Italian restaurants. A classic staple of Charleston. Their dishes are alway delicious, no matter what day or time you come here. Everything from tortellini, veal clambrazia, garlic toast, spumoni ice cream, you can’t go wrong with any of the options. Servers are all friendly attentive. Environment is nice and romantic, good for everything from a date or family get togethers. Will forever be a favorite!
Awesome little hidden Italian restaurant. Waiter was awesome. All the food was delicious. Had the calamari as an appetizer. Was perfectly cooked. Not chewy at all. Also had the seafood fettuccine. Sauce was delicious. My gf had the chicken marsala. Daughter had chicken Alfredo. Everyone loved their meal. Little pricey but def worth the money. We'll def be back.
I tried the lasagna for the first time and was extremely disappointed. It was served in a small casserole dish with only two thin layers of noodles and cheese, lacking any meat or meat sauce. Additionally, we ordered two desserts to go, each costing $9.95, which we found to be overpriced for the quality of food. Although we have always enjoyed dining at Fazio's in the past, this experience left a bad impression and we will not be returning. I regret not mentioning our dissatisfaction to the server and consider this a $100 mistake. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had an amazing experience. The price per person was between $20-30, which I found to be very reasonable. The food quality was a 5 out of 5, as was the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Fried Ravioli dish, it was delicious!
