You have to go! The sandwich was BIG! I ordered and the order was wrong and they were so friendly and changed it and we are really cool about it. Thank you to the woman who checked us, you were really nice and let us smile. Go there for good food and good service

I visited this deli and was very pleased with my sandwich today! The meat was fresh and beautiful, and there was an extensive selection of sandwiches to pick from, making ordering a breeze. I rated it 4 stars, however, because my husband and I ordered just two simple sandwiches, expecting a quick meal before our tour of Fort Sumter. It took about 15 minutes to get our food, which isn’t terrible, but it felt a bit longer than necessary.

This restaurant is fantastic! We typically don't eat lunch out because I used to work in a fine dining establishment for many years, but we decided to try it this time. It's just a 7-minute walk from the South Carolina Aquarium. We arrived a bit after the lunch rush, so it wasn't too crowded. We ordered the Dixie Darling, Chicken Cranberry sandwich, and a grilled cheese for our 5-year-old. All the sandwiches were incredibly delicious. We also tried their chocolate chip cookie and lemon blueberry cookie (wow!), and both were delightful. They were very generous with the chocolate chips, and the lemon blueberry cookie was perfectly soft. We definitely recommend this place if you're in Downtown Charleston!

East Bay Deli Downtown on East Bay Street in Charleston is a great place for delicious and well prepared sandwiches, salads and much more. They are consistent in their quality throughout the years and I have enjoyed my order every time.

I was recommended this deli, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The person taking my order spoke softly, which created a nice, calming atmosphere. My sandwich was fantastic! Overall, it was a delightful experience.
