We came to the NYE dinner, that was a five-course menu. Some of the courses seemed daunting... with ingredients that did not seem to make sense together. We were worried. Each course came with a pairing of wine or bubbly... all yummy. And the food? We were so happy! We were awakening poetically to an onion that was softened in balsamic vinegar. What Vilbogi Sigurgíslis doesn't like about Drawing Room:
Terrible experience. Was lied to about the entire evening. Didn't honor Open Table reservation. Said they "don't have an iPad". Should be able taken off OT. I have never had an experience like this. Will never go again. Would avoid any all costs! View all feedback.
It was the most beautiful evening of all time! excellent eating, ambiente, hotel is beautiful! we really enjoyed it
We came to the NYE dinner, that was a five-course menu. some of the courses seemed to be gloomy... with accusations that did not seem to make sense together. we were a little concerned! each cure came with a pairing of wein or bubbly. all tasty and eat? we were so happy! we have awakened poetically to a wobble that was softened in Balsamico vinegar. the tender was like butter....the things we had never ordered from a menu were so delicious and opened our thoughts to caviar, utter, pate, duck...so, so good.
Excellent eating- perfect prime rib. I was comprehensible as they not only noticed a fixed price menu on Christmas day - but each of the 4 courses was excellent. I love my chocolate dessert. think they, the website should be clear when only fixed price was available. reasonable price prosecco from the bottle. nc allows the mules to cork and take in bottleless alcohol, but keep their cork--other they have no idea where the cork was. one on my bottle was not from the bottle or even a sparkle. service was marginal- watching him with other- friendly, more attentive. he didn't know the menu details- I asked for crabcake sauce, asked about seldom-to medium-sized ribs. his answer let me say don't bring it to the table when it is brown. although I went early, know solo dinners are not really welcome most places - and I was given the worse spot at the place. there were 3 other small tables available and were not used throughout my meal, but I have the bar crowd standing right behind me when they ordered drinks. I had all the traffic in both directions when I was sitting on a corner at the traffic crossing. I moved my table twice as soon as the guests on the next table are left, so I wouldn't stumble any further. with the hovering of the server while I ate my beautiful and special chocolate dessert, I was out of the place exactly 57 minutes of when I sat on the table. I checked my watch at the arrival and when I went with my 1/2 bottle of sparkling. I would always go for eating and dessert again, but service and table situation was so that I 'd choose many of the other excellent places in charleston.
Christmas with reservation. we are waiting for our table. Eating was expensive. would not recommend.
Disappointed in service. We waited over an hour for our dinner. Our waiter, Robert, did not charge us for our beverages and was very apologetic.
