We arrived at the shop just before closing and were greeted with the same warm hospitality as if we were the first customers of the day. The local seafood was fantastic and reasonably priced. We've been picking up fresh seafood and bait from Crosbys for years. Wonderful people who provide a few perks to local regulars. The new dock and food truck are great perks! While I was disappointed they stopped selling the seafood platter (better than Bowens) they still have great food options. My personal favorites are the hushpuppies and fish (usually flounder). Summer dock parties are a fun addition.
Wish I knew about this fish market sooner! We discovered it on our last day at Folly Beach and we’re at least able to enjoy the food truck. You can buy fresh seafood from local fishermen that moor their craft right outside the building. The food truck had good fare and was reasonably priced. Tried fried shark bites for the first time and even the boys like it! Hidden in plane sight on the main road into Folly. Stop by to purchase some fresh seafood if you are prepping any meals during your stay.
