This jazz bar in Charleston, South Carolina, is fantastic! The drinks are sophisticated, the live music is exceptional, and they even offer cigars. What Descartes doesn't like about Cocktail Club:
Charming but Unique, the restaurant features an unconventional and stylish interior, along with a delightful little outdoor patio. Unfortunately, the bartenders were unwelcoming, which cast a shadow over my date, leading us to leave after just one drink. While the drinks were pricey, they fit the upscale ambiance of the place. Julia was amazing and so knowledgeable about our drinks. we were for two rounds and I enjoyed the “Oj did It” and the “Ramen Noodle”. both were amazing. the bartender made my man drink to a special menu, and he said it was his new favorit.
Wonderful unique selection of cocktails. The rooftop bar is small but airy. The atmosphere inside is the best though; the bar of course, but several rooms outfitted with sofas and comfy chairs. The staff were very attentive to our large unexpected group, and we had a great time!
The cocktails are fantastic. The general ambiance needs a little attention. Gorgeous light fixtures with burned out Edison bulbs are a distraction for me. For high end cocktails at high end prices, keep the venue looking sharp!
Amazing atmosphere, definitely should show up in your to do list for summer (or anytime Amin is the a great bartender, ensured our night was going great !!
So happy we found this place. Came into town for 4 days and came here three of the nights, we really enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere of the bar! The staff is very friendly and we loved the variety of cocktails!
