Chubby Fish - Charleston

Every dish was amazing. The ceviche, the tempura, the smoked tile fish, grouper. Our server was informed and also amazing. The cauliflower was the only thing just plain but tasty.

Had a great meal here with fresh tasty food that gets brought out as its ready. I'd seen that they don't take reservations so had emailed to ask what was the best time to arrive but didn't get a response. Arrived at about 6pm on Friday night and the place was packed and we were turned away. However they came after us as we were crossing the road and offered us a place at a standing table. This restaurant is just simply hands down my favorite in Charleston. Menu changes based on what's available. They don't take reservations and the line gets long, so show up by 5 to get on the list, then go have a drink at your favorite watering hole until your prescribed time. Then return and enjoy the fabulous-ness that Chubby Fish is, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent and worth getting there early and waiting in line!!! The smoked tile fish curry was our fav but the sea bass tempura was a close second as was the crudo.

Chubby Fish is the best! The freshest fish, yummy sides, great atmosphere, friendly service. The oysters were to die for! With all the fabulous restaurants in Charleston, I went to Chubby Fish twice and I was only there for 2 days!!
