What David Darr likes about Franklin Motors:
Not much food from the food truck but not Franklins fault. It’s good just limited selection. You are here for the beer and that’s the best part about this. Tons of craft local brews. View all feedback. What Andressa Thorne doesn't like about Franklin Motors:
Pretty cool vibe, the service at the beer bar is ok, the food service and the food are awful! We ordered a cheese platter and it came with two slices of cheese only, and a few pieces of fruit and a few dry stale pieces of toast (see picture). It should never been called cheese platter .We also ordered the french fries and it was extremely grease and salty. I wish they would allow outside food and just serve beer, like... read moreNestled in Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Franklin Motors offers an inviting beer garden ambiance, featuring a robust selection of local craft brews and a rooftop bar with a relaxing atmosphere. However, guests have noted inconsistencies in food quality from the affiliated food truck, Rougette, highlighting limited vegetarian options and overly salty dishes. While the friendly and efficient staff receive high praise for their service, concerns about inclusivity and pet policies have surfaced. While the lively setting is promising, patrons hope for enhancements in both food offerings and community-oriented practices to create a truly enjoyable experience.
The beer selection is fantastic, the sliders are delicious, the large fries are huge, and there is a variety of seating options.
