Came for breakfast and I had their Mexican eggs Benedict and my spouse had breakfast#1 which is similar to a full American breakfast with french toast. Their homemade jam for the French toast is awesome. Will have to come back and try their dinner menu.
Me, Mom and my very good friend went to Gossip's while my stepdad was in the hospital across the street. The blackened chicken was my favorite, while I opted to have it wrapped in lettuce because it was hot and I cant handle much bread in the heat. It was amazing, I have also tried the chili and mom had a hamburger and my friend had the gumbo, I think there is nothing that is served there that will not impress folks. If you have not tried it please do and give the owner a hug for us, he calmed our nerves in a very stressful time.
This review is long over due. I first came here in May of this year with my hubby. My first dish I ordered was the Seafood stew and hubby ordered the steak. The food was really good and the service is great as well. The waitresses are friendly and attentive so is a plus!. They also offer daily specials that I must try sometimes. So, since my art class is 3 doors back from this establishment, I have been coming back here every so often to have lunch after my art class. People are so friendly so it is easy to make friends with Esmit the restaurant owner and a loyal customer Luis and his lovely dog Cooper who are always sitting at the bar. Say hello if you encounter them. This place has become quiet a hangout for me, easy to meet new people and just chat your way into friendly gossips!
Wonderful food with a New Orleans flavor from the chef and owner who personally talks to the customers
