Velocity Wings - Chantilly

This restaurant is a great place to dine outside and savor delicious food and beer. Despite being known for their wings, all the food offerings including sandwiches and appetizers are tasty. The wings are particularly well-prepared and flavorful. The restaurant is also family-friendly and offers a good dining option compared to other nearby establishments.

The wings at this restaurant are large and flavorful. The speed wings are heavily baked, but my favorite are the grilled wings. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, always willing to give you as much sauce as you want. The restaurant is usually clean, although this time we found pancake syrup on our table. There was no waiting list and we were seated right away. I would give it 4 stars because the service was not as comprehensive this time - we had to ask for napkins, plates, and to have our table cleaned. However, the food is always delicious. It can get a little loud in the restaurant, so it may not be the best place for a quiet hangout and conversation. The bathroom is always completely clean.

On December 21, I ordered wings (both wet and dry) and they were not as good as the first time. The takeout box did not have aluminum foil inside to keep the food hot, like it did the first time. However, the staff was really friendly. It was very busy near the bar area, with people coming in and out the door. One of the servers eventually closed the door after being informed by another staff member that the guests were actually staff members. The cashier/hostess and server were very nice when I arrived at the restaurant. The food was ready and they informed me about the specials for the week, boasting that they had the best wings in the area. Our wings came with BBQ sauce, lemon pepper dip, garlic parmesan dip, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, celery, and carrots. Everything tasted delicious. I will definitely be returning for more wings and to try their specials.

Absolutely great wings and they make most of their own sauces. Try the pineapple habanero. Yus
