We were out having a Mommy and daughter day. My daughter said the chicken strip she had were good but just alot of breading on the outside. I enjoyed my burger and was very happy to see I could get raw cold veggies as a side instead of fries. Service was okay as I was never asked if I need a refill on my ice tea, just given my check to pay whenever. Made us think oh she must be done for the day or just doesn't think I tip well because I have kids. Which unfortunately forher is wrong, I always tip well for good service and really well for great service.
A friend of mine is a server their so I tried it out. Clive's Roadhouse in Champlin is really good. So much on the menu we wanted to try. We landed on the steak bites and Mexican Corn Dip. We were not disappointed! Both were great and exceeded our expectations. The only complaint I would say is that it's a VERY loud place.
No, I won't be back. The food was nuke warm . Tater tots looked like they where cooked in old oil, and over cooked. The Teriyaki Stir fry Barely had any rice in it had more vegetables than i've ever seen an any dish not that I don't like them but I would like to see some rice too please? And the chicken was dry to top it off . And speaking as not that great The pull pork was just okay. Service was just okay. All in all it was just okay.
One my go to spots when I want a good meal and good beer at a good price. The burgers and sandwiches are tasty and the service is always friendly. Because it is good, it can get busy, so be prepared to wait during peak times (such as during Vikingsgames).
This was the first and last time we will eat at this restaurant. It was a Friday night, and was seated right away. The food on the menu looked good, but what we ordered was not. We both ordered the Opened Roast Beef sandwich. The beef was shredded, barely enough gravy to cover the dry bread. On÷ good thing, mashed potatoes were good. Was not worth the $60.00 tab we payed. No alcohol drinks were on the tab. We will not go there again.
