The weather was wonderful what the meal could be served outside. After drinks and appetizers, veal/chickens followed with...gratin and dessert was foret noir/mille fouilles all specialties! .Simply but tasty served in a very friendly and efficient way... I've been there for 10 years, sometimes for a complete meal, someti... read more This restaurant is somewhere where I visited regularly, just about 20 minutes from my house. I've been there for 10 years, sometimes for a complete meal, sometimes just for a drink and an ice cream when I'm past a walk in the area. We ate again this week and the service and the food were so excellent that I had to leave a review here. The staff is excellent, well trained, attentive and efficient. With the service you would think you were in a 4-star restaurant and not a canteen. It was a warm evening and everyone ate outside. We were immediately greeted cordially at the entrance of the owner, when maître d ' functioned and taken to a table (we had not booked, and it was quite busy and presented with menus. A waitress arrived almost immediately to take our drinks orders. In the evening the staff remained attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The food was excellent, my guests with large salads of different kinds as the main course. I had to start the Feuilletés aux chanterelle, which was absolutely excellent, followed by a croute au ausage spècial rives (with bacon and chanterelle as well as the usual fried egg, belts and onions see photo . This is probably one of the best croute au test I cost and I tried most on the mountains in the region. The canteen has a playground for children with different games and a trampoline, and there is an area to the side for Pétanque (bring your own boulevards This time I had 't a dessert, but I tried several times before their coupe Danemark and it is excellent (take the caramel sauce! The naming cantine does not do justice to this place, it is relaxed like a cantine, but the food and service are high-end restaurant level. I find the prices for the quality provided very reasonable.
