Miga - Champaign

If you're seeking a chic date night in downtown, MIGA is the perfect option. The interior boasts a modern and contemporary design, featuring bar seating as well as private rooms and tables that can accommodate larger groups. The menu offers a delightful fusion of Korean and American cuisine, along with a selection of sushi. While it is on the pricier side, the culinary experience is truly outstanding.

Miga is one of the most upscale restaurants in Urbana-Champaign that I've ever visited! The interior has been recently renovated, and it's absolutely stunning. I've always appreciated the contemporary ambiance, and most importantly, the food quality is simply outstanding. I ordered the sushi and sashimi combination along with Katsu, both of which have been my favorites for years! While some might consider the prices a bit high, the exceptional quality of the food truly justifies it. P.S. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable!

Next, I tried the Mexican roll (which had tuna, cilantro, and a few other ingredients I can't quite recall) followed by the maguro nigiri. I honestly can't express enough how fantastic it all was. I absolutely love sushi and enjoy indulging in nice sushi dinners on my boss's credit card when I travel. I was so pleasantly surprised to find such a remarkable restaurant, especially in Champaign. Miga will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm in town!

Pretty good. Not the best I had, but better than most in town. Sea Bass App was pretty good and the reels were decent. I would come back to try some of the other dishes.

I love the food and vibe here. All sashimi is fresh. And the funky jazz music matches the chill vibe of this great place.
