This place is a great little, old-fashioned, ice cream shop if you are visiting Champaign. It always feels like you're stepping back in time a bit, but with all the modern amenities. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but try the coconut custard when it is the flavor of the month. It is unbelievable! View all feedback.
What Ειρήνη Αθανάσιου doesn't like about Jarling's Custard Cup:
Mediocre $10 turtle sundae ruined by musty old pecans. Extra cherries got me two, low quality cherries and all the toppings were just subpar. The custard was fine I think but the stale nuts had such a strong flavor it was hard to tell. Super friendly staff but disappointing product. View all feedback.
I don't think there was a person at the age of 18. Makes for a bit of chaos when no one blocks the indoor line or line traffic from the front. In any case, the actual administration could benefit.
This place was a cornerstone in my life since I was a child. It was always consistently amazing and tasty and the ice cream is super creamy and tasteful. It's the best. Very recommended!
It was the best ice cream I had! They make their own waffles, and I can say it. I ordered a waffle bowl of ice with a Nistle crunch, pecans, vanilla and strawberry ice and cold dirt. It was amazing. If you're on a diet, don't come here. I ate my ice so fast because it was sooooo good. Deff's coming back. We had to wait. This place is very popular, but it is worth it. The price is also high. They have their own parking. We're lucky, and we found one right away.
Favorite place of a professor of my wife. Limited ice ice-costard options, but a ton of topping options. Good flavors and service. Can be a bit of a lineup stand drive thru and inside. But still pretty fast. Gives you time to decide.
Hands down the best custard in Champaign-Urbana. Legendary for a reason. A must-visit for anyone in town.
