Description

The restaurant had mixed reviews with some customers complaining about the lack of flavor in the food and even calling it "trash." One customer was disappointed with the racist behavior of the owner. However, others had a great experience, praising the friendly staff, generous portions, and delicious food. Overall, while some patrons were let down by the quality of the dishes, others found it to be an amazing experience and one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city.

Having grown up with a father who owned a Mexican restaurant and worked as a chef for over 40 years, I am familiar with authentic "Caldo De Res." When my son brought home a bowl from Fiesta Cafe today, I was disappointed by what I saw and tasted. The broth was murky and had a strange texture, and the flavor was not at all reminiscent of traditional Mexican Caldo De Res. I will not be purchasing from Fiesta Cafe again, nor will I be recommending it to others. It is unfortunate that their dish did not meet my expectations. Wheelchair accessibility: None.

Very disappointing when I buy $40-$50 of 2 caldos and 5 tacos and it was all trash I can make better I just didn’t have the time but it’s ok keep that and the $7 tip I gave you for this garbage food I have to throw away. KARMA!!! Garbage food. Giving us a bad name. Selling beef stew out of a can is what I was sold. My dogs normally are curious of what we eat I put it down so they can smell and they ran. Don’t sell it to the wrong person. Taco Bell is way better with just the garbage ground beef on the tacos.

This local staple has grown from a tiny one room restaurant to a much larger space with a bar and outdoor patio, all while still remaining at the same address near campus and retaining the same high quality of Mexican food they've always served with cheerful aplumb. They also have the best dang margaritas in town too! With a free parking lot, why go anywhere else? Parking: Small, free lot that fills up quick during busy times. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking spot.
