They’ll promise that someone will... read more This place is officially worse than Denny’s. You’ll end up spending two hours at the bar just trying to pick up a to-go order. They’ll promise that someone will assist you shortly, but you could be left waiting for an hour with no support. Then, they’ll inform you that they forgot to prepare your order, and you’ll find yourself waiting another hour while several dining room staff members just stand around doing nothing. It's not that they are short-staffed; the issue lies in their poor service and lack of concern for customers. Moreover, the restaurant is dirty, has an unpleasant odor, and is infested with bats and flies, even in December. This place is a disappointment. I recommend heading to Outback or Applebee’s instead—don't waste your time and money here. If you really want Applebee’s, try the one in Savoy; it’s hard to imagine it could be worse or dirtier than this establishment.

We were told the wait time was 25 minutes, they took my number and said they’d... read more Friday October 5, we checked in at the Applebee’s near Best Buy in Champaign, Il. We were told the wait time was 25 minutes, they took my number and said they’d call. They call but it just rang once. We got out of the car and went in. The hostess tried to tell us there was a wait, but I interrupted her and said she call me, and told her my name. I was told that the call didn't go through so they cancelled my hold. I told her she just called and proceeded to show that I had a call from them. She still said the call didn't go through and my name was removed from the list but I could be added to it again. Horrible customer service. We turned around and walked out. I gave them one star because I couldn't go any lower!
