delicious south food with a twist. tried the deviled eggs, hamburger and chamblee hot chicken. wow, super tasty! also had the bananenpudding and the gluten-free chocolate tart! great eating. a little expensive, but worth it. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Southbound:
Collard greens didn't taste right. They need a different flavor altogether. Likewise with the coleslaw. The beef short rib was incredible. Definitely order that if you eat beef. Chicken wings were fantastic. Mac N Cheese was okay. Staff was very nice and super accommodating. Restroom was clean. Just wish they had more. The cocktail selection is top notch. Staff was professional and attentive throughout the evening and the food was excellent. Would definitely come back.
I absolutely adore this restaurant and have visited twice while traveling to Georgia. It will definitely be a regular stop for me on future trips. I highly recommend it - the brisket is the best I've ever tasted.
My now husband and I had our wedding reception here. They had a projector and speaker hookups on site that we used and it worked out perfect. We chose heavy Hors d'Oeuvres options and it was a great decision. Some of our guests had allergies to dairy and gluten, and we set up a station just for them. Our guests are still giving the food praise! The bar package was perfect for our needs. The Owner and the staff were AMAZING! Our guests are also still gushing over the service. They accommodated us at every turn, I can not praise or recommend them enough to anyone looking for a reception option or get together with a number of 100 or less! The entire venue area is gorgeous on its own. You wont need to over decorate at all.
My wife and I decided to try this restaurant on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, parking was easy, and most importantly, the food was delicious. The pimento cheese appetizer was especially tasty, and I was thrilled with my choice of the day's special - the fried chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful. We will definitely be bringing our friends back to this place.
We stumbled upon this place after seeing a movie and couldn't find any available tables, so we sat at the bar. Our bartender, John, was fantastic! He made excellent drinks and gave us fantastic food recommendations. I tried the brisket, Buffalo cauliflower, and fries, and everything was incredible! I will definitely return to try more dishes!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here. They had a projector and speaker connectors on site that we used and it worked perfectly. We chose heavy Hors d'Oeuvres options and it was a big decision. Some of our guests had allergies to milk and gluten, and we have set up a station only for them. Our guests still praise the food! The bar package was perfect for our needs. The owner and the staff were AMAZING! Also our guests are still pushing the service. They have accommodated us at any turn, I can't praise them or recommend enough for anyone looking for a reception option or coming together with a number of 100 or less! The entire event area is beautiful on its own. You don't have to decorate at all.
Was there for a private party. The private room upstairs was a perfect setting. The food was picked by the party host, so wasn't able to pick other foods but the items they served were very good. Would like to go back and try the regular menu.
Great casual Southern Fusion food. All we have ordered was very good, except for the picked radishes or whatever it was a taste that was out of place. We sat outside on the way, as we had a little dog with us, and there was a lot of annoying noise when the freight train went by. Apart from that, we had a great experience and will definitely come back.
The place has a great atmosphere it is warm and pleasant. The food is really delicious with this touch of southern taste, smokey and delicious. The service is amazingly special from Roxane it is more than a waitress it is beautiful and very friendly thanks to your excellent customer service. This place has a cool terrace and many parking spaces only for Southbound's Diners .
Beautiful building we had an excellent dinner...we tried the deviled eggs, which had crispy bacon on them. Then my hubby had chicken wings Mac n cheese. The wings were smoky spicy. The Mac n cheese is great. My son had the brisket, perfectly smoked slow roasted...he ate it all! The only feedback I'd give is to add a dipping sauce for the fried brussels. Overall really great food service.
