It is simply scandalous that the restaurant of a so-called 4-star hotel offers such a poor quality meal. As a starter: rancid snails, with an earthy taste. Impossible to swallow them. As a dish for my husband: poultry, overcooked, inedible. As a sauce, a so-called morel emulsion which was morel in name only and an artichoke puree with a plaster taste. As a main course for me: a tasteless fish served on FROZEN and COLD vegetables! We ended up making a complaint during the meal. We were offered to “reheat the vegetables”. I would have accepted this poor quality of meal if we had not been in a castle with a bill for two at more than 160 euros, without wine! The only positive point is that the chef, to make up for this deplorable quality, served us a well-stocked plate of cheeses.
