We visited for breakfast with my partner and our two young children, and it was absolutely lovely. The ingredients were of high quality and cooked to perfection. The portions for the kids were great. The tea room was beautifully decorated, and the cakes looked delicious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even with my noisy little one and baby!
In this beautiful little tee room in the heart of this beautiful village for a bite to eat and had a great breakfast at a very good price. the young lady who served us was charming and ultra efficient and the owner was also the cook that cooked my breakfast while my wife had a hammelette that had more sinking in him than I have ever seen in an omelette before, my wife loved it. I also had one of the best hot chocolates I had in very long time, it was delicious. I was somewhat surprised that it was quite calm and obviously since the reopening last Wednesday, I hope that the locals will recognize what they will lose when it closes. the cakes were enormous and I just had to take a piece with me to try. a piece of ice cream cake has just been swallowed and it was delicious. pity that we do not live closer, that would be a regular hunting if we do.
We had a fantastic experience! The tomato and basil soup was beautifully presented in a lovely shell, accompanied by brown bread. Everyone enjoyed their cappuccinos, Americanos, and pots of tea as we took a break during our 30-mile bike ride from Ombersley. The waitress was exceptionally helpful and attentive, especially when one of us requested marmite.
Recently refurbished to a lovely standard. Homemade cakes are delicious. The afternoon tea is excellent value for money.
