We sat in the attractive courtyard and enjoyed an excellent salad chèvre chaud and the special salad of the day (each big enough to be a main course), followed by the local dish, Jambon Chablisienne. To finish, a good creme brulee and excellent cassis sorbet. There is a very good wine-list, with a good range of decent half-bottles as well as full, well-priced from many of the local producers. Service was friendly and welcoming. Altogether a good option in this town full of excellent eateries.

We both had escargots which were hot and bubbling with garlicky butter. I had a steak and hubby had andouillette Chablis style. Both dishes arrived with chips which looked dark but were perfectly delicious. I had a creme brûlée for dessert. All yum.
