The prime rib dinner was fabulous. Rachel, our waitress, made sure everything was perfect. Her recommendation of a Pinot Noir to accompany our meal was spot on. Mahalo View all feedback.
What StephenP doesn't like about Nanea Restaurant And Bar In Pr:
We were not made aware that there was only a “SET MENU” available until we were seated. That was not what we wanted but we were stuck with that or find another restaurant. If a set menu is all they are offering that should be part of the reservation information. View all feedback.
This hotels needs a better restaurant. Value for the food is not there. It also opens on odd hours and closes on Saturdays!!!!!
Meets hotel restaurant standards. Not great food by any measure, won’t win any contests, well prepared. Overpriced.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. Food was great, and service was outstanding. I will return.
The food was excellent, as was the service. It was a little but expensive, but what hotel restaurant isn’t. I will return.
The restaurant really messed up my wife 's birthday and Valentine 's Day dinner. I was planning to book Makana Terrace for the dinner but I was too late and the only available restaurant in the Princeville area was Nanea. We also had the breakfast at this restaurant the next day. Both experiences were sub par. The food was quite ordinary, the service was really really hopeless (and rude by one waiter). We sat down to a pre-fixed set menu of 4 courses and our first course came in after one hour. After 45 mins of waiting we asked the waiter where our food was. He shrugged and said I already yelled at the kitchen . To the credit of the head chef, he did come out personally with the next course, made sure our food was on time after that, and offered my wife a hot toddy for her sore throat. However the food quality at Nanea needs to be raised significantly to meet the standards of other premier Marriott properties.
