we went to dinner this week when someone told me that the restaurant had improved. the food was ok (average) service ok but the restaurant is cold and has no atmosphere. all they can hear is the television from the bar area and the restaurant smells like stakerauch. I wanted to go, but my man said to stay and try what we did, but we will never go back. eating is not cheap and definitiw not the amount we paid. View all feedback.
Reception of the very unpleasant patronage we do not feel limited to our place.Maybe because we came only to take a drink and not eat. Tell us that if we speak too loud or we don't smile we have nothing to do.Very disappointed it was a first and last time for us.
We know the inn of Cessy since his recovery by the French chief and his aurelie wife. They managed to make a simple bar pmu a beautiful gastronomic inn. Don't let yourself be impressed by the first room, in which the pillars of the corner are located every evening. crossing it, you will find yourself in the restaurant room. frédéric dishes are always inventive, thoughtful and succulent. the chef masters perfection both meat and fish, which is rare. a small flat for those who would be looking for a top-of-the-range inn - here you will be entitled to a correct local inn service, without chichi and superfluous reverences. in summary, an excellent address for lovers of good French cuisine reinvented.
I was in this restaurant after a recommendation, I found nothing extraordinary. but simple and nice service just like simple and quality cuisine. quality ratio correct price
A huge improvement in standards. Though living locally. we had avoided this restaurant for some years. Under the previous and current owners, the quality of the food had been disappointing and the service appalling. A recent dinner showed that the place has got back on track. While the dining room will never be anything than barn-like, it is worth a visit. The menu is not huge, but there is good variety and the wine list is similarly small, but interesting. The price of the two fixed menus was 35 and 41 Euro. We had the latter and were very satisfied. The starter and dessert were outstanding, the main course had excellent vegetables and reasonable, but not very excitingly cooked, veal. More attention to the main course and the restaurant could be drawing customers from afar - the night we were there, it was mainly locals (a positive sign in itself).
Succulent dishes, homemade and it feels! prices remain very high, however, the Swiss border must be too close. and service is sometimes clumsy. However, the whole card makes you want, and the food is refined, as much dishes as desserts.
