Was Ash Lovejoy at Cessnock Buffet a mag?
I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, with a menu that had a variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to dining here again in the future. View all feedback.

One of the best restaurants at Hunter Valley. Sadly they don't have their Jalapeno poppers on the menu anymore but everything else is just as great.
Highly recommend! We only ended up here due to a rude encounter at another venue. So glad that happened. The food here was absolutely amazing!!!! Strongly suggest the prawn tacos and the convenience of the cocktail jugs was really handy. Great atmosphere with live music!!
The food was incredibly tasty, and the staff were very friendly. If you're in Cessnock and looking for a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner, this place is a must-visit! We tried a bit of everything, and all the dishes were delicious. Especially impressive were the roasted cauliflower, gnocchi, and beef cheek - absolutely amazing!
This restaurant is a great place for a drink or a meal in a peaceful setting. The beer was cold, the customer service was good, and the meal overall was decent. The Thai beef salad could use more beef, but it was still tasty. I plan on returning to see if the beef portion improves so that it lives up to the name of Thai 'beef' salad.

There is small amounts of food and the reason for this is it stays fresh and hot and they refill all the time. There is plenty of food all the time and the staff are nice and friendly as well. Over all we will be back.
I like the fact that this buffet charges by a child's age and we have a child 7 years hence $7 and a child 10 hence $10 They enjoy a meal plus some ice cream or other sweets. Two pictures attached. There is a modest selection of Asian options along with traditional roasts This place is no stand out but pretty good value and tasty foods. Drink prices also very reasonable. Hahah this place livens up the stillness of the Hunter valley Region at night :D!! Definately not a bad place to stay for the weekend, can vouch for that
Pub trying to be a night club First impression was getting charged almost $20 for a jim beam and lemonade in a ten ounce.
This restaurant is located inside the Cessnock Ex Servies Club. The "all you can eat" buffet is only available on certain days. The restaurant is clean and service is helpful. There is a good range of food. There are salads including a very nice seafood salad. A couple of soup options. There is a roast section. When we were there the roast ham was lovely. There is a range of vegetables including cauliflower cheese. Hot dishes included butter chicken, lasagna, a lamb curry, baked fish etc. There is a Chinese section with a couple of noodle dishes, sweet and sour pork, a chicken and beef dish as well dim sim honey chicken etc There was also fried fish and chips, spring rolls, battered crab sticks. Desserts were both hot and cold including bread and butter pudding, panacotta, trifle. Enough for everyone to find something they liked. Dishes were fresh and continually topped up - no cold unappetizing dishes. Popular venue with a good turnover. There was iced water and tea and coffee included in the price. Lunch is very reasonable for seniors it was $13.50 and $14.80 adults. Parking is easy.
We had a buffet lunch It included ribs, pasta, pizza, garlic bread, and a green tosses salad Everything was delicious.
We went for dinner and found the 'Half-Buffet' good value! Apparently there's less on offer (mainly no seafood) for the dinner menu as opposed to the full buffet for lunch... but that suited us, (wouldn't have eaten the seafood anyway).Selection of Chinese dishes, roasts and vegetables/salads and nice desserts, tea and coffee. There was plenty of food, the service was friendly and the price was very cheap considering.A few negatives included waiting for quite a while to find a staff member to carve the roast meat and the stack of clean plates didn't appear to be that clean... or maybe they had just discoloured and scratched due to age(?)For the price paid and the selection available, the 'Half-Buffet' Dinner is worth a try!
