Exc... read more It's a lovely place located directly on Cervia's canal harbor. The service is guaranteed to be Romagna-style, always cheerful and makes guests feel at home. Excellent seafood (and meat dishes with traditional dishes). The wine selection is excellent. The dinner is worth every penny, and the atmosphere is the added bonus of a wonderful evening. We tried a local a... read more We visited Restaurant Capitano without a booking on a Monday night. Our daughter (11) had pasta whilst we enjoyed some very tasty fresh fish. We tried a local artisan beer, Kukia, recommended by the friendly staff also very nice. All in all we enjoyed a good meal. The only small draw back was the number of mosquitoes that joined us however the staff were quick to assist with repellent and candles.

Apart from the average experience he is offering in his restaurant and over priced dishes, this is place is not worth to visit not even for a glass of wine... Dear Owner , you should take the critics from your clients as a free advice on what to improve instead of offending every single client because you do not like the negative comments.

I look for on google the restaurants of the area with the best rating and among the many I see the captain restaurant. but what strikes me is not the great reviews. but the owner's answers to the negative ones! I have no doubt at this point. I call, book e. fantastic dinner, friendly staff and prepared that recommended me the best! if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed and especially learn to decipher reviews well! P.S the recommended romagna sciampagn was superior (I am ocited by the local with a box of 6 bottles under arm,) only painful note. there was no seasonal fruit in the menu'

Last night I was lucky to eat the famous Catalan “capitano” , a well-known restaurant on the cervia canal. the highest quality of the fish served impeccably, re... read more Last night I was lucky to eat the famous Catalan “capitano” , a well-known restaurant on the cervia canal. the highest quality of the fish served impeccably, really sublime. before the Catalan we took me and my partner a plate of raw, also this really great. the freshness and quality of the fish are really unique. the service then was accurate and the waiter, the “Elf of the Night”, as I heard I affectionately called the various guests of the place, pampered us following us carefully during dinner. we will definitely return with friends in this really well-kept place where quality does it as a master.
