I loved this place so much I'm going a second time very soon. The hot pot bulgogi was so flavorful and great amount of meat and glass noodles perfect for two. The spicy pork ribs were so tender they fell off the bone and delicious with a bite of rice. Reccomending this place to everyone! View all feedback.
What Daisy Vázquez doesn't like about Cho Dang Tofu House Cerritos:
The service at this place is horrible. If your not their ethnicity they won't attend you first. Even though you get there first. I had gotten to this place first sat on a table with my children. Minutes later people of their ethnicity walked in and attending them right away. They ignored us for couple min. Till I walked up and said something. I was on the hunt for a Korean restaurant and stumbled upon this one, and it turned out to be a great choice! We ordered the Kimchi soup with beef and the Galbi combo, which came with soup. They also provided us with a generous variety of side dishes to accompany our meal. We were very pleased with our selections. The service was decent, but the parking situation was a bit tight and crowded.
The food was well-prepared, plentiful, and a fantastic value! The seafood pancake was a bit undercooked, but the spicy pork was tender and had a nice balance of spicy and sweet flavors. The banchan was generous; they offered more without the usual need to ask—something that's refreshing. This is my top Korean restaurant in Southern California, and I’ve tried many! The dining room is clean but typical. As for the tip, I suggest 3 to 10%. Who does that nowadays? They ended up with a 20% tip.
We originally intended to visit the new restaurant next door, but the long wait led us to Cho Dang Tofu House instead. We were pleasantly surprised! The Braised Ribs were fantastic, and the Seafood Pancakes were packed with flavor and delicious. They also served us complimentary barley tea, which was a lovely bonus. While I can't speak for the restaurant next door, I can definitely recommend this Korean eatery!
My wife have been coming here since 2007. Ownership has changed but the food, service and atmosphere has not. This is a true gem for us and a must try.
