The locals come from the bank and local shoppes. The word most heard in this tiny coffee shoppe is Ciao! The second most heard word is Grazie!. If you want to pretend you are Italian order in Italian and stand aside. There is only room for 10 people max but you will enjoy fabulous coffee at non NYC pricing. Don't be surprised if you stay for a double. View all feedback.
We visited L'Espressino, one afternoon after a big day out on the lake. Very friendly, English spoken. A must visit if you like a great coffee.
Make sure you pop in here for great coffee and pastries and mix with the locals if you are in the area. It is located right on the main street so you can't really miss it, we were staying in Moltrasio which is the next village on the lake and we strolled down into Cernobbio for a mid morning coffee enjoy!
I drink espresso everyday. Most of the time in quads. On my way back to the Ville d' Este, I stopped at L Espressino and had a fantastic espresso experience with the locals. Making plans for next visit tomorrow!
If you are ever in Cernobbio, or any area around Lake Como, please spare a few minutes to have a cup of coffee and some pastries. I almost did not have my breakfast there because there were no chairs, but the smell of coffee was really good. Had an espresso and my wife had a cup of cappuccino. A couple of gipfels later, and we are hooked. Going there again tomorrow morning for our morning coffee.
Great to be back in Italy and have exquisite great coffee, 1€ espresso stand up at the bar. Highly recommend you get your coffee fix here
